Game Jams
Skills City Game Jam: R.E.T.R.O
I participated in a game jam that the Unity bootcamp I attended hosted for their students. The theme was "Retro" so my team and I decided to make a 2D platformer where the player collects letter to spell "RETRO" while avoiding enemies.
I participated with programming the two types of enemy ai, and the player's collision with the enemy which included killing the enemy when falling down onto its head and taking away the player's life when interaction in any other way. I was also responsible for managing source control with GitHub which I gained most value from as I am now confident I can take any project from start to finish with source control best practices.
Global Game Jam Entry: Scraps

This is my group's submission for the Global Game Jam 2020. I entered the game jam through my university, Edge Hill, and my group had only 48 hours to complete it.
I contributed by creating the majority of 3D assets and many other assets used for the game along with some contributions to the programming.
I developed my skills in building and leading a team as I was required to integrate a new team member and ensure that their complementary skills in web design were both recognised and contributed to the overall performance on the project.
